Plant Water
Plant Water Removal
Follow Basic Steps 1,2,3,4. If stain remains, mix 1/2 cup white vinegar with 1 cup warm water. Use a clean, white terry cloth towel to blot vinegar mixture onto stain. If stain remains, follow the procedure for rust removal, after steps 1-4 and the vinegar. A mild solution of oxalic acid may be needed.
The container may also stain the carpet if wet. Wood, finished wood, metal, and wicker are all common plant containers that stain carpet. Many of these stains are very difficult to remove, and may require patching. If the above steps do not remove the stain, please consult us, as using more harsh chemicals such as solvents can permanently ruin carpet if not applied and removed correctly.
If stain remains, call ZerorezĀ® to set up a professional stain removal consultation.
