How often should you clean your carpets?
Most carpet manufacturers require you to clean your carpets at least once every 12-18 months to maintain the warranty. But, this may not be enough if you've got a busy household.
The frequency of vacuuming and evidence of spots should determine how often your carpets need Zerorez; not the calendar.
Carpet is a surface that adds softness, warmth, and luxury to rooms in your home. At Zerorez, we clean your carpets in a way that leaves them looking newer longer.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Zerorez different?
The secret to Zerorez's success is our ability to clean without using high-residue soaps, detergents, shampoos, or harsh chemicals. We give you the best of both worlds: a sparkling clean that lasts longer while keeping your family and pets safe.
Does Zerorez get stains out of carpet?
The Zerorez process with our patented Zr Wand™ can usually get stubborn spots out. However, for bigger problems, we have a specialized method to remove the deepest spots through a sub-extraction procedure, treating the carpet backing, pad, and sometimes the subfloor.
Do I need to vacuum before Zerorez?
It is important that your carpet is vacuumed thoroughly prior to your appointment. We ask that you remove items such as lamps, picture frames and other fragile items from tabletops and clear floor of toys, books, and other small items.
Does Zerorez use chemicals?
What is Zr water?
Zr Water is an all-natural, alkaline, non-toxic all-surface cleaner that replaces the need for soaps or harsh chemicals that many traditional cleaners use.
How fast does Zerorez dry?
According to decades of surveys, the biggest complaint about carpet cleaning is how long it takes carpets to dry. Zerorez has faster-drying times in two ways. First, leaving less water behind by using our patented Zr Wand™ with water control technology, creating a high-powered rinse and suction to extract dirt and debris from carpet fibers without flooding. Second, we use specially-designed fans (air movers) to increase airflow and reduce the dry time. The results? Carpets that are ready to be walked on just hours after cleaning.
How often should carpet be cleaned?
Most carpet manufacturers require you to clean your carpets at least once every 12-18 months to maintain the warranty. But, if you've got a busy household, this may not be enough. The frequency of vacuuming and evidence of spots should determine how often your carpets need Zerorez; not the calendar. Most manufacturers will require the carpet to be hot water extracted (the Zerorez method) and many of the premium carpet mills will require you to be IICRC Certified.
