Why Professional Furniture Cleaning Matters
Couches and other upholstery can become a haven for dirt buildup.
Deep cleaning furniture is important for improving your upholstery's longevity as it removes all the crud trapped in its fibers. And, of course, a deep cleaning helps to restore its appearance and softness.
While you can find many do-it-yourself DIY upholstery cleaning products, methods, tools, or suggestions online, it is usually safer, quicker, and more effective to use a professional cleaning service like Zerorez.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should you professionally clean a fabric couch?
Couches and other upholstered furniture should be vacuumed regularly to remove dirt and debris, and any spills or messes should be wiped up and blotted as soon as possible after they happen.
However, it is generally recommended that couches are professionally cleaned every 6 months. But, there are several factors that go into how often you should deep clean your couch such as its color, how often you use the couch, spills, stains, and accidents on it, your sensitivity to allergens, and if you have pets. Regular couch cleaning helps prolong the life of your furniture.
What does professional upholstery cleaning include?
Professional upholstery cleaning usually includes cleaning the sides, backs, cushions, and included pillows on the upholstered furniture. Each included part of the furniture will be inspected, vacuumed, pre-treated (if needed), rinsed with Zr Water®, extracted, and dried.
We may not always clean the "the decking," which is the fabric that seat cushions of sofas rest on, as this increases dry time, can cause dye bleeding onto the cushions, water spots, and a weakening of the fabric.
We can also spray the fabric with our premium fiber protector after it's cleaned, as an additional service.
How much does a professional couch cleaning cost?
Pricing for professional upholstery cleaning is usually based on size - either the number of seats, the length of the furniture, or a combination. Each Zerorez location sets their own prices for the cost of couch and other furniture cleaning. Please contact your local Zerorez to learn more. Locations periodically run special promotion and discounts on upholstery cleaning.
How long does upholstery take to dry after being professionally cleaned?
It depends a lot on the upholstery materials and its weave, but usually cleaned upholstery will dry in 6 hours or less. We work hard to ensure your upholstery dries quickly, often using a fan, and setting cushions in an inverted V pattern.
